What is the CVV#?

The CVV code on your card is a security feature for credit or debit card transactions, giving increased protection against credit card fraud. On Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards, the CVV is a 3-digit number located on the back of the card. On an American Express card, the CVV is a 4-digit number located on the front of the card.
