No. Though tempered glass is very strong, the primary feature of tempered glass is that it will shatter into many very small pieces if it is put under any source of pressure such as attempting to cut it. This means that if you have an existing piece of glass that has already been tempered that it cannot be modified or changed in any way. All fabrication is done prior to tempering.
